Tour Day Two

Today we arrive in a city that integrates its past into the present better than any other. First, we’ll explore the world’s most famous arena, the Colosseum, where you can almost hear the stamping feet of the crowds gathered for gladiatorial combat. Nearby, the Roman Forum marks the former heart of the Roman Empire. Later, we’ll visit the Vatican, and marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. Before you say “arrivederci,” make sure to toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain thus ensuring a return trip to the Eternal City.

Afternoon:

We’ll meet our Tour Director as soon as we clear customs, and will depart for check-in and dinner at our hotel.
