Tour Day Four

Today we’ll conclude our Roman odyssey with a visit to Vatican City, a place where art, faith, and history intersect. We’ll explore the Vatican Museums, home to centuries of artistic masterpieces, before marveling at Michelangelo’s iconic ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. Our visit continues into St. Peter’s Basilica, the spiritual heart of the Catholic Church, and concludes in St. Peter’s Square, where the grandeur of the space reflects the enduring influence of this remarkable city-state.

Morning:

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we'll pick up our licensed local guide and enjoy an in-depth tour of the Vatican.

Afternoon:

We'll sample local cuisine during our free time for lunch, after which we'll board our over-the-road coach for the four-and-a-half hour transfer to Florence.

Evening:

We’ll check-in and enjoy dinner at our hotel upon our arrival in Florence.
