Tour Day Seven

Today we delve deeper into Spain’s royal and cultural heritage with a guided tour of Madrid’s Royal Complex. We’ll visit the grand Royal Palace of Madrid and stroll through Plazas de la Armería and de Oriente, where sweeping views and elegant spaces reflect the city’s regal past. Later, we’ll travel to the historic city of Toledo, where centuries of Christian, Jewish, and Muslim influence converge. With our expert local guide, we’ll explore the magnificent Toledo Cathedral and visit the Church of Santo Tomé and historic synagogue, offering insight into the rich layers of Spain’s shared history.

Morning:

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we'll pick up our licensed local guide and enjoy an in-depth sightseeing tour Madrid's Royal Complex, during which we'll see the Royal Palace and Plazas de La Armería and de Oriente.

Afternoon:

We'll sample local cuisine during our free time for lunch, after which board our over-the-road coach for the short one-hour drive to Toledo. Upon arrival, our local guide will lead us on an in-depth sightseeing tour during which we'll visit Toledo Cathedral as well as the Church of Santo Tome and Synagogue.

Evening:

We’ll enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to our hotel for the evening.
