General Meal Information:

All meals are served as a group – not à la carte – and a vegetarian option will be available if requested in advance. Table water, both still as well as carbonated, is generally provided at every meal. Any travelers with dietary restrictions or food allergies should communicate these details to EF prior to tour and reiterate them with their Tour Director. Travelers should expect portion size to be smaller than what they are accustomed to at home. Please refer to your detailed itinerary for any tour-specific information.

Breakfast

Breakfast at your hotel will typically include cereal, bread or rolls, jam, juice, coffee and tea, but may include a more substantial buffet-style meal depending upon the location.

Lunch

Lunch is your opportunity to make culinary discoveries of your own. Our Tour Directors are always ready to make recommendations based upon what is available in the areas through which we're traveling.

​

Dinner

Dinners will typically feature a mix of local cuisine as well as familiar dishes served as a preset meal for our group, rather than chosen from a menu. Table water is always provided free of charge; bottled water is provided in locations where deemed necessary by locals. Travelers are expected to pay for soft drinks and other beverages while at dinner.
