Transfer to Athens

Today we’ll visit the archaeological site and museum centered around the Oracle of Delphi, one of the most important landmarks of antiquity. Ponder the mysteries that lie in your future as you climb the ruins of the Temple of Apollo. We’ll see a variety of artifacts dating back to 550 B.C. at the Delphi Museum and learn more about the mythical past of Greece.

• Morning: We’ll depart our hotel for a two-hour guided walking tour of the architectural site at Delphi, followed by free time for additional exploration.

• Afternoon: We’ll depart Delphi for our four-hour transfer to Athens, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant along the way (one hour).

• Evening: We’ll arrive for check-in at our hotel; if we’re located more than 30 minutes from the city center, we may not see Athens until tomorrow.

• Greek Evening Excursion (-optional-): Select travelers will depart the hotel for a two-hour Greek Dinner and Traditional Show. Those not participating will have dinner at the hotel.
