Today we'll get a taste of Parisian style as we ride down the Champs-Élysées, an elegant boulevard packed with high-fashion boutiques. We’ll pass the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe and strike a pose in front of the Eiffel Tower. At the École Militaire, we’ll see where a promising young Napoleon launched his rise to power. At the Louvre, we’ll see I.M. Pei's iconic glass pyramid marking the entrance to treasures like Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

• This Morning: We'll depart the hotel and pick up our local guide for a sightseeing tour of Paris. Our driving tour will include the major sights in the city. There will be a photo stop at the Eiffel Tower and the tour will end near the Paris Opera or the Arc de Triomphe.

• This Afternoon: Travelers not on the Versailles Excursion will enjoy additional free time in Paris.

• Versailles Excursion (-optional-): Select travelers will continue with the bus and guide to Versailles. There will be free time for lunch upon arrival (one hour). An interior visit of the chateau (one hour) and free time to visit the gardens (one hour) will follow. Groups with more than 30 travelers will be split into two smaller groups. The bus will drop the group off in a central location if there is free time remaining, otherwise the group will go straight to dinner at a local restaurant. (Those not participating will have a free afternoon and meet at dinner).

• This Evening: Dinner will be at a local restaurant after which we'll return to the hotel.

• Today, we'll see: The Place de la Concorde The Champs-Élysées The Arc de Triomphe The Les Invalides The Eiffel Tower
