Transfer to Florence

Today we’ll embark on an unforgettable road trip from the lakeside of Lucerne, Switzerland, to the artistic heart of Florence, Italy, via the refined tranquility of Lake Como. Our day-long journey weaves through alpine landscapes, charming lakeside towns, and rolling Tuscan hills, blending natural beauty, cultural richness, and timeless elegance.

• Morning and Afternoon: We’ll depart from our hotel for a full, eight-hour day transfer to Florence. We’ll be pulling into a number of rest stops or service stations along the way. Note that service stations in Italy often include gourmet restaurants, deli counters, extensive shops, restroom facilities, etc.

• Evening: Due to the probable location of our hotel as well as the length of our transfer, it’s unlikely that we’ll see Florence until tomorrow; we’ll have dinner at our hotel upon our arrival and check-in.
