Spending Money

Spending Money While on Tour:
Before Travel
Before you travel, you should familiarize yourself with the current exchange rates for the U.S. dollar to the local currency of the destinations on your tour. Traveler's are advised not to carry traveler’s checks since they can be difficult to cash.

Plan on budgeting approximately $60 per day for spending money. This amount should cover lunches, beverages, souvenirs, free time activities, and any additional excursions.

While Traveling
At the start of tour, travelers should bring the equivalent of $60 in the currency of the initial destination. Don't worry about trying to exchange currency at your local bank prior to departure, we'll have time to do so at the airport.

Once we're overseas, ATMs are the most convenient way to withdraw cash since they accept a wide variety of bank and credit cards.
